UMD Admissions - Student Tour Guide Positions Now Posted!
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is thrilled to announce the opening of student tour guide positions starting this fall! Previously, student tour guides were part of a student organization known as the IMAGERs, which has been active on campus since 1984 and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
In collaboration with the IMAGERs, there has been a transition to a fully paid model for tour guides. This change will enable the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to work more closely with our guides on strategic goals for campus tours and ensure the team represents the diversity and entirety of our university.EVS is looking to hire approximately 50 guides and four coordinators. The coordinator roles come with additional responsibilities, detailed in the job descriptions. Students can apply for both the campus tour guide and campus tour guide coordinator positions through e-jobs using these links. The best consideration deadline for applications is July 26th, and we look forward to interviewing a diverse pool of candidates.
