In this country today, the zip code you are born in has more to do with your life prospects than your capability or ambition.  Of the 16.4 million children living in poverty only 50% graduate from high school; on average those graduates read on an 8^th grade level.  Make an impact.  Expand opportunities for the next generation.  Start by teaching for two years in a low-income community and help unlock your students’ full potential.  Take the first step to join the thousands of others working to combat this inequality by submitting a resume and a 500 word letter of intent at our February 10^th deadline.  We are open to all academic majors and career interests.
