Career Shuttle Event on Capitol Hill

Career Shuttle: Capitol Hill, Wednesday, April 6 (8:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)

Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career Shuttle to the Capitol Hill! This visit is open to all UMD students and would be a perfect choice for students interested in career paths and tips on landing an internship or job on the Hill.

Agenda:

•          Depart UMD campus and travel via bus to the Hill
•          Introduction/welcome UMD Alum: Mr. Pamitha D. Weerasinghe, J.D., Professional Staff, Committee on Science, Space, and Technology – Democratic Staff
•         Panel of Hill professionals discuss tips and best practices for discovering your place on the Hill
•          Lunch is on your own, but a cafeteria is nearby
•          Tour the Rayburn Building
