The Global Women’s Leadership Initiative (GWLI) at the Wilson Center promotes increased and substantive women's leadership worldwide. The Initiative's flagship program, The Women in Public Service Project (WPSP), works toward the 50x50 goal of 50% women's representation in public service leadership by 2050 by building networks, enabling and inspiring women, and collecting the data that drives the movement toward global gender parity.
GWLI/WPSP offers internships in the spring, summer, and fall terms to undergraduate students and recent graduates who are interested in women’s leadership and global gender equality. Interns have the opportunity to work directly with program staff on events, communications, research, data analysis, and other program activities.
