The Alumni Association Scholarship Application for the 2023-2024 year is now live! The Alumni Association will be awarding 20 scholarships of $3,500 each, $1750 per semester. Applications are due Monday, April 3, 2023 by 11:59pm ET.
Competitive applicants should have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 higher,
show commitment to the university community through on-campus and/or
off-campus involvement, and exhibit Terp pride.
In order to be eligible for this award, applicants must:
- Have completed one semester at the University of Maryland, College Park at the time of application and be enrolled full time (12+ credits for undergraduate students and 9+ credits for graduate students or 48 credit hours) during both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters
- Submit a complete, online application by April 3rd, 2023 at 11:59pm ET, which includes: application, unofficial transcript, resume and a reference letter submission.
- Recipients will receive a $3,500 award, $1750 per each semester (Fall 2023 and Spring 2024). Awards will be applied to the recipient’s student account (by the Office of Student Financial Aid) prior to the first day of classes for each semester awarded.
