The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program lets students (of all majors) gain professional experience in the federal government. Interns receive a 10-12-week summer internship at a federal agency in a data science role or with the National Science Foundation. They also receive a stipend for full-time positions (minimum 32 hours/week) and professional development sessions, including orientation and networking events throughout the summer.
The NSF opportunity is open to candidates interested in at least one of the following career tracks: Liberal Arts, Public Administration, Science, Mathematics and Engineering, Government Contracting and Acquisition, and Public Interest Technology.
