ATHEN is a professional association and network for Access Technology in Higher Education. The purpose of ATHEN is to collect and disseminate best practices in access technology in the higher education environment as well as present a collective voice for the professional practice of access technology in higher education.
ATHEN would like to remind all that the 2024 Teresa Haven Scholarship for Students with Disabilities is open for applications. Applicants must have all documents and forms submitted by March 31, 2024.
Eligibility and award information
- Enrollment in a post-secondary institution in the United States during the award period or evidence of acceptance to a postsecondary institution in the United States immediately following the award period (i.e. award granted in May, student must be accepted to a postsecondary institution for Fall semester of that same year.)
- Must be a student with a disability
- Registration for a minimum of six (6) credit hours per quarter/semester
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
