Capitol Hill Internship Program Summer 2016

Program Description:
The Capitol Hill Internship Program enables students who work in a Congressional Office to receive college credit.
Students are expected to work 18-20 hours per week and attend a weekly seminar in order to complete the program.

Public Policy Internship Program Summer 2016:
The Government and Politics Public Policy Internship Program enables students to work in local, state,
national, regional, or global political institutions and receive college credit.

The Maryland Internship Program Summer 2016:
The program is designed for students looking to supplement their academic course work
with real-world experience in Maryland politics. MIP places highly-qualified UMD undergraduate students in
internships throughout Maryland state government. These internships provide unique internship experiences
for motivated and talented students to work within state government. In addition to exposing interns to the
governmental process, the program provides Maryland government leaders with research and other professional
staff assistance.
