Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support to the company’s government relations and public policy organization in the United States
- Create newsletters, infographics, and other materials for internal and external audiences
- Research and provide analysis on policy issues surrounding technology, privacy, cloud
- infrastructure, and other issues
- Monitor and track industry news and related legislative developments using a myriad information sources
- Assist with government relations and public policy projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- A practical and proactive problem-solver who possesses strong business acumen and is confident, mature and calm under fire
- Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast paced environment, but be focused when needed on the matter at hand
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills
- Strong and demonstrated research skills
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and with a team
- Of the highest degree of personal and professional integrity and ethic
- Experience with graphic design and/or HTML is desirable
- Prior experience with an elected official or state/local government is a plus
Education
- Current or recently graduated (within 6 months of graduation) undergraduate with a focus in political science or technology-related field. Significant public policy,government, political science, or international affairs coursework is necessary
- Juris Doctorate candidates are encouraged to apply

- September-December 2017 (minimum of 12 weeks, full time 9am-6pm)
