Alumni Association Student Scholarships

The Alumni Association will be awarding 27 scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year, totaling $54,000. These scholarships are made possible by the dues paying members of the University of Maryland Alumni Association. Applications are due by Sunday, April 7, 2019. Recipients will receive a $2,000 award, $1000 per each semester (Fall 2019 and Spring 2020).

Competitive applicants should be a continuing student with a 3.0 GPA or higher, show commitment to the university community through on-campus and/or off-campus involvement, and exhibit Terp pride. In order to be eligible, applicants must plan to attend the University of Maryland in the academic year following selection.

In order to be eligible for this award, applicants must:

Have completed one semester at the University of Maryland, College Park at the time of application;

• Submit a complete, online application;
• Have a reference form submitted on the applicant’s behalf;
• Be enrolled full time (12+ credits for undergraduate students and 48+ units for graduate students) during both the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters.
