Tyler Jost (Brown University), Joshua Kertzer (Harvard University), Eric Min (UCLA), and Robert Schub (University of Nebraska) are working on a project to collect and digitize a large number of government documents from the US National Security Council. They are seeking 5 research assistants from the University of Maryland available to photograph materials at the National Archives at College Park this summer.
Research assistants must be available to start work in early June and will be expected to work 30-40 hours per week for approximately 12 weeks. Research assistants should be detail oriented and self-motivated. Experience with archival research and interest in US foreign policy are preferred but not required. The position pays $15 per hour.
