Career Shuttle for US Department of Agriculture

October 18, 2019 |  9am to 12:30pm

This trip is open to all UMD students in all majors interested in exploring careers within animal health and welfare,
plant protection, environmental policy, and international trade to name a few. The agency also hires communications
majors, business majors, economists and IT specialists.

The visit will provide an overview of APHIS, a tour of their emergency operations facility, and small-group discussions
with staff and alumni about employment opportunities. APHIS staff members will also lead an exercise to help you
develop an “elevator pitch” about your career aspirations, which is useful for job interviews.

Space is limited - please RSVP today.
