The Boren Scholarship offers undergraduates up to $20,000 for long-term (two semesters; one for STEM majors) study abroad focused on learning critical languages. US Citizenship is required.
Eligible regions include Africa, South Asia, East and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and former Soviet Republics, Latin America (esp. for Portuguese), and the Middle East. (Boren Scholarships MAY NOT be used for study in Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.) Boren Scholarships m
