The Maryland State Director for Obama for America is looking for Obama Organizing Fellows to participate in their Summer Organizing Program.
A fellowship with Obama for America is an intense internship with a weekly requirement of either 15 hours (part-time) or 40 hours (full-time). Fellows have a variety of responsibilities involved with a grassroots political campaign, such as registering voters, recruiting and training volunteers, running phone banks, and community organizing in an effort to reelect President Obama.
Through the Obama Organizing Fellows program, students earn valuable skills that will prepare them for success later in life, study the principles of campaign organizing, and help carry out important grassroots activities in support of the President. This is an ultra-competitive program, and we look for the best students (and non-students) in the nation to serve in these roles.
