Pamela Harriman Foreign Service Fellowships provide funding for students
interning in the U.S. Embassies in London or Paris, or the Secretary of State's Office Washington, D.C.
This nationally competitive and highly selective program offers a $5,000
stipend for eligible juniors and seniors throughout the United States.
Established
by the College of William & Mary in 2000, the Harriman Foreign
Service Fellowships honor the late Pamela Harriman - the former U.S.
Ambassador to France, Legion d'Honneur awardee, patriot, diplomat,
philanthropist, friend of the arts, and mentor to a generation of public
servants.

February - State Department completes most intern selections (pending security clearance).
February - State Department completes most intern selections (pending security clearance).
Apply for the Harriman Fellowship
Mid-February
- Harriman Program staff contacts eligible interns and invites them to apply for the Fellowships
March - Finalists selected for interviews. Harriman finalists interview with Advisory Board.
Mid-March to May - Harriman Fellows selected and notified.
