The
Congressional Liaison Office (CLO) facilitates effective communication
between the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
and Congress, responds to inquiries by members of Congress and
congressional committees, and keeps the Board and the System aware of
congressional developments that are of interest to the Federal Reserve.
Preferred
candidates will be in their junior or senior year of undergraduate
studies or in a graduate program with a focus on political
science, government, communications, public affairs, public
administration, business, economics, or a related field. Interested
candidates must commit to working 40 hours per week during business
hours during the months of June thru August. This is a paid position,
with a desired start date in June 3, 2013. The internship ideally will
continue through end of August, provided that performance meets
expectations. The CLO will work with the student’s college/university to
provide academic credit, if available/desired.
