Child Family Health International (CFHI) is a nonprofit recognized by the United Nations that offers socially responsible Global Health Internships for students of all levels interested in health or medicine. CFHI staff will be hosting an info session on campus on Friday, September 20 at 12:00 p.m. in 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing. They will discuss and take questions on their global health programs abroad and scholarship opportunities, application process, and what to expect on a CFHI program. Through CFHI participants go on 4-16 week placements alongside local healthcare professionals in underserved communities. Participants rotate through clinics and public health facilities, attend health lectures, and become immersed in the healthcare system of the community. Over 50% of CFHI program fees go back to underserved communities abroad. Learn more: Child Family Health International: cfhi.org
