Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) Internships

CAPAL’s 2014 Federal Internship Program and Public Service Scholarship Program was formed to provide minority students, particularly Asian Americans and Pacific Islander students, an opportunity to gain exposure to government and public service and to receive funding for summer internships. We strive to bring together a diverse class of interns and scholars and hope you will encourage students at your institution to apply for our program. Could you please publicize the opportunities below to students at your institution that may be interested?

CAPAL’s internship and scholarship programs are designed for students interested in learning more about the public sector. The programs include weekly leadership seminars, networking opportunities, and individual mentorship. Qualified applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or above and a demonstrated commitment to public service, including service to the Asian Pacific American community. All current students and ALL MAJORS are welcome to apply.  We have up to 25 openings available.

Any questions can be sent to applications@capal.org. For more information and to access the application, please visithttp://www.capal.org/programs/scholarships-and-internships/.
