The John Quincy Adams Society and The National Interest are pleased to announce their 2019 essay contest for
The John Quincy Adams Society is a national network of students and professionals focused on the intellectual and
college students. The winner will be published in The National Interest, will receive $1,000, and will have a seat at the
Society’s 2019 student leadership conference in Washington, D.C. Several runners up and honorable mentions will
also be recognized.
Essays are due by the end of the day on Sunday, March 24, 2019, and must be between 900 and 1200 words in
