MarvelousAI Communications and Public Relations Internship Opening

Are you a passionate political junkie and a prolific writer? Looking for an internship that allows you to follow the US Presidential election, write about, and stay glued to social media? MarvelousAI is looking for a Communications and Public Relations Intern who is interested in publishing short articles and blog posts weekly covering the upcoming primaries with insights gained from our AI enhanced analytics platform. Other duties could include assisting with updating the corporate website, social media updates (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook), and producing a monthly company newsletter.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce well written, data based, and concise blog posts based on MarvelousAI platform insights at least 1x per week
• Produce a data-based and concise article suitable for the AP newswire up to 2x per month
• Update corporate website as needed, typical updates would include adding speaking engagements, adding to existing content, posting announcements, and adding to available resources
• Post updates to social media 1x per week, typical updates include announcing and promoting speaking engagements, posting presentations or videos from previous speaking engagements, and promoting blog posts, articles, and press releases
• Generate press releases as needed 

Job Skills & Expertise Required: 

• High school diploma and willingness to learn through on-the-job training. Communications and/or Government majors preferred but all majors considered. 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills 
• User knowledge of PC and/or Mac office applications (WORD, EXCEL) or equivalent knowledge of Google Docs suite 
• Previous experience with WordPress or willingness to learn quickly 
• Understanding of electoral politics in the United States 
• A keen interest in US politics! 
• User knowledge of at least two social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
