Teach for America is looking for graduating seniors to join the Teach for America team. TFA allows recent graduates the opportunity to research and apply to teach in up to three of TFA’s 38 regions, which range from large cities to rural communities.
If you are interested in co-creating a more equitable future for all of us alongside the country’s brightest minds–its kids–TFA could be for you. Joining Teach For America starts with a commitment to teach for two years in an underserved classroom and continues for a lifetime of working and advocating for educational equity.
After teaching for two years, TFA offers an extensive alumni community of career educators, civil rights attorneys, tech entrepreneurs, policymakers, socially conscious CEOs, and other professionals shaping a more equitable future from every sector. Whatever path your own career takes, TFA will accelerate your leadership and impact toward systemic change.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree by June 2023 with a 2.5 minimum undergraduate GPA and be a U.S. citizenship, national/permanent resident status, or recipient of DACA.
The deadline to apply is October 21st at www.teachforamerica.org/join-us. The application takes about an hour to complete and is nonbinding. The next step, if invited, is a virtual interview, during which you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about TFA and network with fellow applicants.
More information about Teach for America and the application process can be found at www.teachforamerica.org.
