On October 11th, Jeffrey Minear, counselor to Chief Justice John Roberts, and the Hon. Jeffrey Sutton, chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, will convene at the UM Law School to discuss the constitutional roles and responsibilities of the U.S. federal courts to the American government and its democratic institutions. The event is co-sponsored by the Big Ten Collaboration, UM, and Rutgers. All Big Ten students will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance.
