Wiley Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Pre-Law Scholarship & Job
Wiley is pleased to announce the Pre-Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion scholarship for 2023, which provides a Project Assistant position with the firm’s paralegal program in addition to reimbursement for LSAT preparation and exam costs (up to $2,500) and a $10,000 scholarship award that can be used to support costs associated with enrollment in a JD program. To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must also submit an application for a Project Assistant position. Flyer attached.
Eligibility for the Wiley Pre-Law Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship will be evaluated across several factors:
■ Applicants must demonstrate a record of academic achievements, leadership, and/or professional accomplishments.
■ Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
■ Applicants must be members of a historically underrepresented group in the legal profession, including college graduates who are members of a racial and/or ethnic minority, are differently abled, or are from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
■ Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
■ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college with a final overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The factors considered in the selection of the scholarship recipient include a focus on a wide array of student backgrounds, characteristics, and life experiences – including those associated with race, gender, age, ethnicity/ national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, marital/parental status, and more.
