Paralegal Science Specialization
Prominent Plaintiff-side law firm, headquartered in New York City, is currently seeking legal assistants for our DMDL (Drug and Medical Device litigation). Applicants should have a Science or Public Health background. They should demonstrate research experience and strong academic accomplishments. Positions require at least two years of commitment. This opportunity is excellent for motivated recent college graduates seeking to pursue a career in law, medicine, public health, or other related fields.
Candidate must possess a great work ethic, efficiency, and a team player attitude. The individual will work within our firm's Hip Implants' group, be responsible for operative and implant reports, and assist with high volumes of case deadlines. In addition will be responsible for individual case review, case evaluation, and reviewing medical documents. Candidates must be able to start within two weeks.
Ideal candidates
- Have a science background
- Have experience reading medical files
- Have knowledge of the legal field/ law firm experience
