Campaign Internships
Internships in this category are concentrated on directly working with an ongoing campaign on the national, state or local level. Most of these internships include elements of raising funds, grassroots campaign work, press relations, and social media outreach. Interns will learn the necessary skills to work successfully with candidates and in a campaign setting.
Americans for Prosperity Foundation (Campaign, Partisan)

DCCC- Member Services Department (Partisan, Campaign)
The DCCC is the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee which is the official campaign arm of the Democrats in the House of Representatives, and the only political committee in the country whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way to victory.

This is Maryland’s local branch of the Democratic Party. Headquartered in Annapolis, they provide support to candidates and encourage people to register to vote. Interns have the opportunity to become familiar with the structure of local politics and learn the necessary skills to work successfully with candidates and volunteers. They will have the chance to directly work on campaigns, recruit and train volunteers, and attend meetings and events.
