Diplomatic Internships
This field focuses on the relationships between the United States and foreign countries. Interns will experience how the process of diplomacy and diplomatic relations functions through working in United States’ agencies dedicated to foreign affairs, or with foreign embassies. Interns can witness the diplomatic process through different areas, such as communications, public policy, or cultural affairs.
The Embassy of France (Diplomatic)
The Embassy of France to the United States maintains the diplomatic relationship between the US and France. The French Embassy is home to many departments, including but not limited to the Press and Communication Office, Finance and Administrative Department, Regional Department of Economic Affairs, and Office for Science and Technology. Interns must be proficient in French and have a native speaking level in English. Internships may be for the spring, fall or summer.

The Embassy of Israel (Diplomatic)
The Embassy of Israel to the United States is Israel’s largest in the world. The Embassy has many departments that work with the US government including the Political Department, Congressional Affairs, Public Diplomacy, Press Office, Cultural Affairs, Economic Mission and Defense and Armed Forces Attaché.

The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Washington, D.C. is the United Kingdom's diplomatic mission to the United States. They develop and sustain the relationship between the UK and US in terms of economics, policies security and trade. They offer internships ranging from public policy to internal and external communications.

U.S. Agency for International Development (Diplomatic, Federal Gov., Humanitarian)
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the United States federal government agency primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid. USAID seeks to "extend a helping hand to those people overseas struggling to make a better life, recover from a disaster or striving to live in a free and democratic country." It operates in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
