Grassroots Internships
Internships in this area give those interested the opportunity to work in the field to organize groups of people around single issues, such as the environment, equality, or youth empowerment, among others. Grassroots organizations are created from the bottom-up which provides interns with the chance to learn mass organization and outreach strategies. Interns can choose a topic they are passionate about and transfer that into field, administrative, or research work.
