Description: The District of Columbia Homeland Security
& Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) is pleased to announce that we are
currently recruiting for our summer 2015 internship program. HSEMA is a unique
and dynamic organization dedicated to protecting against, planning for,
responding to, and recovering from natural and man-made hazards. The paid
internship program will provide real-world knowledge and experience in
emergency management, homeland security efforts, and intelligence analysis.
We are seeking current graduate AND undergraduate students
who have an interest in the following fields:
- Cybersecurity
- Criminal Justice
- Emergency Management
- Homeland Security
- Information Technology/Computer Science
- Intelligence Analysis
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Public Administration/Policy
- Public Communication/Relations
The summer internship will be from May 7, 2015 – August 7,
2015. Those students that are interested should complete the instructions on
the attached flyer and submit their application by April 10, 2015.*

Desired Class Level(s): Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior,
Masters Candidate
Duration: 7 August with possibility for extension
Approximate Hours Per Week: 40
