Language Career & Internship Fair

Humanity First UMD, a student organization that engages in local and international service, is co-sponsoring the Language Career & Internship Fair along with the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, the Graduate Studies and Interpreting Translations program, and the University Career Center. There are over 40 employers attending including the International Rescue Committee, the Peace Corps, and the US Department of State. 

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in exploring careers relating to Journalism, International Development, International Relations, International Business, Economics, Government and Politics, Sociology, Foreign Languages, Public Policy, and Humanities. Students will have the opportunity to connect with employers looking for interns, part-time hire, and full-time hire.

Please note that you do not have to register beforehand; all registration is handled at the career fair itself.
