The Federal and Global Fellows Programs and the National Scholarships Office are co-hosting representatives from the Pickering, Rangel, and Payne Fellowship Programs for a campus visit on February 27 to meet with juniors, seniors, and recent graduates interested in joining the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State or the USAID Foreign Service.
The Pickering and Rangel Graduate Fellowships provide financial support through two years of graduate study, internships, mentoring, and professional development activities leading to an appointment in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. Both programs have mid-September 2020 deadlines.
The Payne International Development Fellowship provides similar support through two years leading to an appointment with the USAID Foreign Service. It has an early November deadline.
These programs seek applications from students with financial need, especially those who are members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and women.
