Internship
with the Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce is
offering internship opportunities to motivated students and graduates
interested in gaining hands-on political experience in the Executive Branch.
Participants will learn and assist with the essential tasks of government
professionals and will have opportunities to network within the Administration.
Upon successful completion of the program, interns will receive a letter of
recommendation and class credit where available.
Hours are flexible and schedules are adjustable to accommodate school, work, and family obligations.
Interns at the Department of Commerce will have the unique opportunity to learn about government, engage with senior-level staff and appointees, and make a difference by assisting policy staff with initiatives that positively impact communities across the U.S.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning and research, wants to gain Executive Branch experience, and is a hard worker who is willing to exceed goals and deadlines.
