2022 Fulbright UK Summer Institutes
The US-UK Fulbright Commission offers special Summer Institutes for U.S. citizens to study in the UK. These expenses-paid summer programs provide the opportunity for U.S. undergraduates (U.S. citizens, aged over 18, see eligibility details below), with at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete, to come to participate in a three or four week academic and cultural summer program.
Participants in these programs will get the opportunity to experience an exciting academic program at a highly regarded UK University, explore the culture, heritage and history of the UK and develop their academic ability by improving presentation, research and communication skills.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens;
- have a GPA of 3.7 or higher;
- be 18 or older;
- be a second or first year student, and/or have at least two years of undergraduate study remaining after the Institute finishes;
- cannot have spent more than 4 weeks outside the U.S. in the last 5 years. Exceptions are made for refugees and/or students from a different cultural background who have spent time abroad due to family emergencies.

- UCL (Geography and the Built Environment)
- University of Bristol (Arts, Activism, and Social Justice)

Join the Feller Center for a virtual presentation and Q & A about planning for your post-grad adventure. Whether you are just starting or are in the midst of your job search, this workshop is for you! In this session, we will discuss the tips for making your application stand out, exploring career paths/job types, and how to implement an effective search. \The session will begin with a presentation, followed by breakout rooms for questions. Apply for Winter/Spring 2022 BSOS Undergraduate Experience Funds!
The application for the BSOS Experience Funding for Winter/Spring 2022 experiences is open. The selection committee will review and consider all submissions for funding on a rolling basis, through March 1 OR once funds have been exhausted, whichever comes first. An initial best consideration date of December 17 has been set to ensure all applicants who have applied for funding by this date receive a timely response, particularly for Winter experiences.

Spring (and Summer) Internship with the Office of Rep. Anthony Brown (MD-04)
Hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for at least three days a week. Monthly stipends are available to full time and part time interns unless they are sponsored by an outside organization or are planning to receive academic credit for the internship.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Students who are interested in interning our Washington D.C. office will have some of the following
duties:
• Answering phone calls
• Data assembly and entry
• Assisting the Legislative Team with projects
• Assisting with the research and writing of constituent correspondence
• Researching issues or agency policies
• Assisting with mailing projects
• Other projects as assigned

Spring 2022 Interns Needed: Office of Congressman Kevin Brady (TX-08)
Interns will work with D.C. based staff performing legislative and administrative work. Tasks include answering phones, sorting and drafting responses to constituent correspondence, attending briefings/hearings, performing legislative research, and supporting staff members on various projects. Ideal candidates should be professional and possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a commitment to public service. State and/or district ties are a plus but not required.
