Are you a SOPHOMORE or JUNIOR thinking about studying abroad in Germany next year – in Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 or for the academic year?

Learn about the DAAD Undergraduate Scholarship, which provides a monthly award of approximately $850 for one to two semesters (four to six months) to help you meet the costs of studying in Germany. Last year 3 UMD students received this award!

Highly qualified undergraduate students are invited to apply for scholarships funding study abroad in Germany. The goal of this program is to support study abroad in Germany and at German universities. Preference will be given to students whose programs are based at and organized by a German university. Scholarships are available either for students taking part in an organized study abroad program or for those planning an individual, student-designed study abroad semester or year. The National Scholarships Office – scholarships@umd.edu – provides advice and support to DAAD Scholarship applicants.

The NSO has scheduled five information sessions. Please write to scholarships@umd.edu to let us know which session you plan to attend. (If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled sessions send a note to the same address.)
