WIIT Charitable Trust – International Trade Summer Internship

WIIT Charitable Trust seeking a current sophomore or junior student to serve as a summer intern. The intern will conduct research, develop non-partisan educational international trade programs for Congressional staff, and provide general office assistance for the Women in International Trade Charitable Trust (for more details, see www.wiittrust.org).  

The intern will work directly with the chair of the WIIT Charitable Trust, Nancy Travis, an alumna of Vassar College and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, former trade official at the U.S.Department of State, and current Vice President for International Compliance at the Advanced Medical Technology Association in Washington, DC. Throughout the summer, the intern will interact with various members of the Washington international trade community. 

The internship will be hosted by the U.S.-Russia Business Council at 1101 17th Street, NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC.

The intern will be able to participate in all WIIT summer programs free of charge.

Qualifications:
  • Current junior or senior
  • Interest in international trade issues, effective research, writing, and program development skills.
  • Must provide proof of employment eligibility
This internship is unpaid.
