Paid Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduates
PathwaysToScience.org offers 600+ summer research programs and paid summer programs to undergraduate and graduate students in all STEM disciplines. These programs are all FULLY FUNDED opportunities including programs sponsored by the NSF, NASA, and NIH.

If you need help finding a program that’s a good fit, please feel free to email ldetrick@ibparticipation.org for assistance. Please include your level of study, disciplinary interests, and any other requirements you would like to be considered. 
 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Energy Storage Internship Program
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Energy Storage Internship Program offers 10-week, hands-on, practical summer internships at U.S. National LaboratoriesParticipants will conduct research related to the development of newer chemistries, battery designs, and manufacturing processes needed to usher in changes in energy storage.

The Professional Opportunities for Student Workforce to Experience Research (HS-POWER) Program is offering undergraduate and graduate students hands-on experiences with federal facilities and other HS-STEM focused international partners in both Washington, D.C, and Ottawa, Canada.

National Institute of Health (NIH) Summer Internship Program in Biomedical Research (SIP)
Summer programs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) provide an opportunity to spend a summer working at the NIH side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in the world.

Internships generally cover a minimum of eight weeks, with students arriving at the NIH in June. The NIH Institutes/Centers and the Office of Intramural Training & Education (OITE) sponsor a wide range of summer activities including an orientation to help interns get off to a good start, Summer Lectures featuring distinguished NIH investigators, career/professional development workshops, wellness activities, and Summer Poster Day.

The Maryland Public Service Scholars program offers full time internships, remote seminars, events and projects.

ORISE to host Virtual Career Fair: Featuring Internships and Fellowships at CDC, EPA, FDA, USDA, and more!
The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is hosting a virtual career fair to highlight the variety of paid internships, fellowships, and research opportunities available within their Research Participation Program across various government agencies.

Maternal and Child Health Careers/Research Initiatives for Student Enhancement-Undergraduate Program 
(MCHC/RISE-UP)
Maternal and Child Health Careers/Research Initiatives for Student Enhancement-Undergraduate Program (MCHC/RISE-UP) is a summer public health leadership program funded by the CDC that provides (1) clinical, (2) research, and (3) community engagement and advocacy experiences for undergraduate juniors, seniors, and scholars within 12 months of their baccalaureate degree. Sites include (1) Kennedy Krieger Institute, (2) University of California-Davis, and (3) University of South Dakota. 

Application site is OPEN. 
The Maternal and Child Health-Leadership Education Advocacy Research Network (MCH-LEARN) program
The Maternal and Child Health-Leadership Education Advocacy Research Network (MCH-LEARN) program, funded by the HRSA, provides the scholar with maternal and child health and public health research, clinical, and advocacy experiences. The MCH-LEARN is full-time during the summer and monthly during the academic year.
