ACES Minor Application and Upcoming Info Sessions!

The ACES Minor is accepting applications for the Spring 2022 semester!

The ACES Minor is a 16-credit academic minor open to students of all majors. Students gain practical skills in cybersecurity through technical and non-technical coursework, group projects, internships and research opportunities.

This curriculum is bolstered by regular interactions with cybersecurity industry leaders in both the private and public sectors who serve as mentors and professional networks for ACES Minor students.

The ACES Minor is also an Upper Level Concentration for Computer Science students.

Admissions Requirements: Students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, 30 university credits completed prior to enrollment, and at least three (3) semesters remaining at UMD.

Students can submit the application via the ACES website at aces.umd.edu. Applications are due February 25, 2022.

Please share this opportunity with any student who might be interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity!
