Background

The Maryland Student Legislature is an intercollegiate model legislature based on the MGA--think Mock Trial or Model UN, but for the General Assembly. College students write and submit original legislation to MSL. During the Annual Session, schools from across the state come together to debate these bills in the State House. The event also includes a keynote speaker and a Saturday evening gala at the Graduate Hotel downtown.

Registration

Students from each school register together as a delegation. Delegation Chairpersons (DCPs) should download the roster form, fill it out, email a roster of delegates to the Secretary of State at secstate@msl.org.

No delegation at your school or not sure who the DCP for your school is? Just email info@msl.org or reply to this email and we'll help you get started.

The cost to attend is $40 per student.  Students are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and food while attending the Annual Session.
