Internship with U.S. Senator Bob Casey

These experiences serve as an introduction to public service and the work of the United States Senate. Students with ties to Pennsylvania are particularly encouraged to apply

State Department Pathways Program Recent Graduate Job Opportunity

The Pathways Program Recent Graduate Opportunity is a one-year opportunity for recent graduates to gain professional development in the Federal government. Individuals who have graduated within the last two years receive formal skills training, mentorship opportunities, and engage with people who are skilled in the art of diplomacy. 

Most of these positions focus on Passport Adjudications across the US, offering opportunities to work directly with individuals in their communities. State also offers opportunities through the Recent Graduates program in areas such as Foreign Affairs, Budget, Human Resources and Program Analysis.

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship which annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals between the ages of 18½–24 the opportunity to spend one year in each other’s countries studying, interning, and living with hosts. 

Prior German language knowledge is not required. Participants are expected to represent the diversity of the US in factors including, but not limited to, career field, educational background, geographic location, disabilities, ethnicity, gender, race, religion and socio-economic status. US or German citizenship required.

Donald M. Payne Fellowship Program

The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program seeks to attract outstanding individuals who want to work on the front lines of pressing global challenges - poverty, hunger, injustice, disease, environmental degradation, climate change, conflict and violent extremism – through the US Agency for International Development Foreign Service. 

The award includes funding toward tuition and fees for completion of a two-year master’s degree at a US institution; a stipend for each academic year for room, board, books and other education-related expenses; and a stipend, housing, transportation, and related expenses for summer internships. 

Fellows also participate in two internships (in DC and with a USAID Mission abroad). 

Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2+. US Citizens.
