Spring and Summer ISF Congressional Policy Internship

Islamic Scholarship Fund Interns spend a semester on Capitol Hill working for a member of Congress. They observe the legislative process at the federal level, develop research skills related to policy, and assist full-time staff with their duties. The Program aims "to expose American Muslim students to the privileges and responsibilities of working in the halls of Congress and inspire a new generation of American Muslim policymakers." 

Participants receive a monthly stipend. The internship also pays for housing. Candidates should be active member of the Muslim community; enrolled at an accredited university in the US or graduated within the last year; majoring in an ISF supported major; 3.0+ GPA, US citizen, permanent resident or a DACA recipient, incoming junior-senior, a commitment to policy-making and public service.
