The ACES (Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students) program has opened applications for the 2024 CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) scholarship.
Applications are due June 30, 2024.
The CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, seeks to encourage cybersecurity education and workforce development. In partnership with the National Science Foundation, ACES provides scholarships for students who commit to working for Federal, State, Local or Tribal governmental organizations after graduation.
This scholarship covers full tuition and fees at UMD for two or three years and provides funds for course materials, and professional development, as well as an annual stipend for living expenses ($27,000 per year for undergraduates.) Upon graduation, students commit to working for a Federal, State, Local, or Tribal government organization in a cybersecurity related for a period equal to the length of the scholarship.
Students must be enrolled in the ACES Minor in order to receive the SFS scholarship. Additional information can be found on the ACES website
