Dialogue For The Future Presents: Campaign Finance Reform

Dialogue For The Future, an honors organization will be holding an event this Wednesday, about Campaign Finance Reform. Dialogue For The Future is a group dedicated to providing an open forum for discussion about current events and issues.
Campaign finance is always a hotly debated topic in the American Election process and represents one of the biggest conflicts between our first amendment’s freedom of speech and the influence of money in the democratic process. Join us as we explore and uncover the complicated ways in which campaigns in America operate, what regulations are implemented to oversee our elections, and what challenges are still faced.
This event will be a panel discussion featuring a number of prominent speakers including the Federal Election Committee, Ellen Weintraub, the President and CEO of the bipartisan organization, Americans for Campaign Reform, Lawrence Noble, and the Mayor of College Park, Andrew Fellows.
Date and Time are 2/6, 7:00 PM at Ulrich Hall in Tawes: https://www.facebook.com/events/535767706443019/?fref=ts
