The Ready for
Hilary Super PAC will be hosting students from around the country during the
summer of 2016 at their headquarters in Arlington, VA. The campaign office is on
the DC Metro and students will be able to access it easily. Internships will
all be campaign related in one of the following areas: Social Media and Online
Communications, Finance (Fundraising), Communications (Traditional Media), Campaign
Operations, Political Outreach and Research. Please see internship descriptions
below.
The Ready for
Hillary internship program provides an excellent opportunity for students to
learn and serve through first-hand participation in the electoral process.
Modern campaign tactics and close association with campaign professionals will
create one of the more rewarding internship experiences in Washington.
Social Media and Online Communications: Campaign
promotions using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram as well as working with our
online advertising consultants on Google, Bing, etc.
Finance (Fundraising): Our finance team helped to
raise over 100 million dollars in 2008. Interns will work on events, donor
outreach and research.
Communications (Traditional Media): Supporting our
press operations includes tracking stories, updating media lists and working
with our press secretary.
Campaign Operations: The Ready for Hillary online
store will open in May. Students will work with online commerce, order
fulfillment and product management.
Political Outreach and Research: Organizing and
reaching out to elected officials, party activists and delegates.
