Population Connection's Capitol Hills Days Conference

Population Connection is the largest grassroots organization focusing on population stabilization in the United States. Their main programs include: educating young people about unsustainable population growth through K-12 lesson plans that reach 3 million students a year, informing constituents across the country about their congressional representatives' stances on population growth and family planning, and working directly with Congress and the White House to inform family planning policy and funding levels. Population Connection works to ensure that every woman around the world who wants to delay or end childbearing has access to the health services and contraceptive supplies she needs in order to do so.

Population Connection is currently extending invitations to their annual advocacy conference Capitol Hill Days which will take place Friday, April 4th - Tuesday, April 8th at the Fairfax at Embassy Row Hotel in Washington D.C. This weekend consists of informational sessions and interactive advocacy training focused on the pressing need for U.S. investment in international family planning, leading up to lobby visits on Capitol Hill.

The program is free to attend. Student scholarships are available for student travel and housing, but registration is required. For more information, you can contact our Program Assistant, Jessica Anderson, at 202-332-2200 or janderson@populationconnection.org.
