National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship



NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS - ­ FINAL SUMMER­ INFO SESSIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATES, GRADUATE STUDENTS, AND RECENT ALUMNI

 ARE YOU PLANNING OR PURSUING GRADUATE STUDIES IN SCIENCE, MATH, ENGINEERING, SOCIAL OR BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES?

 The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is the largest and one of the most prestigious awards for graduate study in science, math, engineering, and social/behavioral sciences. The NSF award provides three years of support, with an annual stipend of $32,000. To be eligible you must be a US citizen or permanent resident, and you must have fewer than 2 completed years of graduate study. You can learn more about the NSF award at www.nsfgrfp.org

 45 MARYLAND SENIORS, RECENT ALUMNI, AND GRADUATE STUDENTS WON NSF GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS IN 2014!

 The National Scholarships Office is providing information sessions that will help you begin developing a highly effective NSF graduate fellowship application. Current undergraduates at all levels and recent alumni are welcome to attend, as are those who will be first or second year graduate students in Fall 2014.

 ***Tuesday, August 5 ­ Plant Sciences Building Room 1130 from 4 pm to 5 pm

 ***Wednesday, August 6 ­ Plant Sciences Building Room 1130 from 4 pm to 5 pm

 Eligibility: You must be a US citizen or permanent resident to apply for the NSF graduate research fellowship, and you must have fewer than 2 completed years of graduate study.

 Deadlines to apply will be in November 2014.
