"Speak Up, Save a Life" Presentation from the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office, hosted by USJ
On April 6, 2016 at 7pm in 6107 McKeldin Library the University Student Judiciary is hosting Montgomery County Assistant State's Attorney, Steve Chaiken. He will be giving a presentation entitled "Speak Up, Save a Life" about the growing drug epidemic in Maryland and Maryland's relatively new Good Samaritan Law, which happens to be very similar to UMD's Responsible Action Policy.
Mr. Chaiken is a charismatic speaker eager to work with students. He will discuss how the law works and how we, as citizens and students, can utilize the law to save lives. This event is hosted by the University Student Judiciary and is open to the public.
