Education Abroad Diversity Dialogue for Latin@/x Students

Education Abroad at UMD is currently recruiting students who identify as Latin@/x for a Diversity Dialogue on April 20th, from 5:00-6:30PM. The dialogue will be hosted by Education Abroad in Susquehanna Hall and pizza will be provided for participants.

What is an Education Abroad Diversity Dialogue? A Diversity Dialogue is a space for students from underrepresented backgrounds to share their perspectives on study abroad. Participants will discuss their personal aspirations and concerns regarding studying abroad, while providing support for their peers throughout the dialogue.

Why an Education Abroad Diversity Dialogue? Education Abroad is interested in learning about the experiences of underrepresented students, especially as they pertain to study abroad. Therefore, Diversity Dialogues serve as a venue for students from underrepresented backgrounds to connect with each other around a common topic, while also providing Education Abroad with insight into ways to better serve students.

Latin@/x students at UMD, whether they have studied abroad or have not, are invited to participate and if interested, can register at our SignUpGenius through this link. Registration will close on Friday, April 15th.
