International Development Career Conference

The IRCC conference is designed for young professionals willing to build an international development career to provide them with practical and applicable skills to start their professional path. The sessions are led by practitioners with significant expertise across various regional and international development organizations who share insights on what the work in the sector actually looks like, how to adjust the academic theories and models to the real-life situations, and tips to be successful at the recruitment stages.

The event has proven its effectiveness by constantly reaching a 100% satisfaction rate of students and a 90.4% employment rate of graduates within one year after completion. It is very different from the academic modules as it educates young people on how to utilize the knowledge built during their university studies to be successful at work. It is also different from what general career support courses offer as it is very specific to the sector and our facilitators have the HR background at international development organizations and are able to share the direct guidelines of what students should do to catch the eye of the hiring manager during the recruitment process.
This would be a great advantage for students who take part in the event.

Kindly note that the application deadline is May 1, 2019.
