Intern at the DNC or RNC

Fall internships are available at the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee.

Democratic National Committee
Interning at the DNC is a unique opportunity for hardworking, passionate future leaders to gain real life, hands-on experience in Democratic politics, strengthen their understanding of the political process and prepare for future political opportunities. It’s also a great way to form lasting connections and memories. The DNC Internship Program provides a $3,000 stipend. Housing is not provided. In addition to typical intern duties you will have the chance to volunteer in community outreach projects and grassroots organizing, assist at DNC functions, take tours across Washington, D.C., and attend weekly lunches hosted by DNC staff. The priority deadline to apply was July 15, 2019 but applications are accepted on a rolling basis: https://democrats.org/about/internships/

Republican National Committee
Over the last decade, the RNC has welcomed interns from over 240 different universities across 48 states. We are looking for interested undergraduate students to continue our tradition of excellence as interns at our Washington, DC headquarters. Our internship program provides marketable skills, lifelong connections, and an enjoyable experience to a select group of high-achieving students, who in turn contribute measurable value to the RNC’s operations and stay connected with the organization long after their last day as an intern. Internships are available within each of our divisions. To apply for an RNC internship, please follow the instructions on our website: www.gop.com/internships
