Boren Scholarship for Critical Language Studies - Info Sessions Next Week

 Are you currently studying, or strongly interested in studying a language critical to US national interests? Are you strongly interested in US government service?


The Boren Scholarship offers undergraduates up to $20,000 for long-term (two semesters; one for STEM majors) study abroad focused on learning critical languages. US Citizenship is required, All classes including seniors are eligible. Campus deadline: January 23, 2023.


Eligible regions include Africa, South Asia, East and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and former Soviet Republics, Latin America (esp. for Portuguese), and the Middle East. (Boren Scholarships MAY NOT be used for study in Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.) Boren Scholarships may be used for study abroad in Summer 2023, Fall 20243, and/or Spring 2024.
