“The First Generation Student Association (FGSA) is an exciting new addition to the vibrant community at the University of Maryland! As a student leadership organization within the Honors College, FGSA is dedicated to empowering first-generation students on their journey through college. Our primary goal is to provide support, foster success, and create a strong sense of belonging for first-generation students. Membership is open to all students on campus who share our mission of inclusivity and support (allies welcome)!
